I Love Flowers . . . for Challenge YOUrself and Art Journal Journey Monthly!

Hi everyone. It's time for a new challenge at Challenge YOUrself!

 

May's theme is to complete the sentence:  "I Love . . ." 


Spring is just starting here and I absolutely LOVE flowers, so I decided to make my page about flowers and birds.  I found a photo that was taken at Disney World back in 1989 and is of my sisters Patty, Karen, and me.  It was taken just outside of the Enchanted Tiki Room at the Magic Kingdom.  That was one of my favorite attractions because it features flowers and birds!  You can learn more about it here!

I loved making this mixed media scrapbook page.  As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew that I wanted to make it about John's and my trip to Rhode Island this past summer!  I used Vicki Boutin's beautiful papers and embellishments to make my page.

This month's theme is "Birds" and is hosted by the very talented Matilde at 100% HandMade.  Matilde says "birds are associated with spring, freedom, colors, nature and so on. It is up to you how you wish to interpret this theme and I look forward to seeing all your pages."

My page is about flowers and birds because one of my favorite attractions at Disney World in the Enchanted Tiki Room at the Magic Kingdom, which features exotic birds and flowers from all over the world.

    That's a great photo of you and your sisters Sharon. The 3 of you do look similar-but then of course you do, you are sisters.
