Today I would like to share a layout that I made for the design team of Scrap our Stash. Here's the current stash challenge #31:
And my layout:
My photo was taken back in March of this year, and is one of my favorites from my online photography class. I used the following items from my stash to make my layout as follows:
I~ Inkssentials white linen ink
N~ newsprint stamp
K~Kraft paper
S~stitching, Snap pack - gold, and a star
In addition, I was inspired by this amazing sketch that I found at the Scrap Friends blog:
Here are some different views of my layout:
And to end today's post, I would like to share some recent photos that I took right down the street from us during my morning walk:
I am so happy that we live in such a pretty and peaceful area! I am in awe of it's beauty every time I take a walk. I love to see how the scenes change with each season, too!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Keep an eye out - I am going to be posting a layout that I made for the Scraptober Fest challenges that are going on this month at four different blogs! Hugs to you all! I hope you are having a good week.
Gorgeous layout Sharon. Love your title that goes perfectly with your photo. Your photo looks fabulous with the frames and I really like the touches of gold and stars. Looks beautiful where you live. I am enjoying seeing all the Autumn photo;s from my Overseas friends, it is such a pretty time of year. We are in Spring and I am enjoying the weather warming up

ReplyDeleteNow that is a complex sketch, looks very difficult.
ReplyDeleteI like the scrap your stash letters, good fun. The way you have used them AND kept to the sketch is terrific. Love the photo by the way.
And are these photos from just down your street? - so very different from here, you've captured an autumn atmosphere which looks misty and frosty.
Cool art from your stash! GORGEOUS photos of your area!!! Love fall!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Sharon!! What a pretty layout, love the layers!! Very creative uses for each of the letters too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place to take a walk, all that nature goodness right there close by. Looks so peaceful and pretty!! Thank you for sharing them.
Time is going by so fast indeed. Wish fall could go slow though, it is my favorite. Hope all is well with you and family. Here we are doing good and enjoying what was GORGEOUS fall weather, shorts and shirts even some days. Now the wind and cold have come and will stay the rest of the week, lol. Just hoping we get some warm weather again after that.
We have been enjoying the Middle so much. poor Sue and her new roommate, too funny. I'm glad she has Axel at college with her, so sweet. UGH, poor Brick though, I told Sam that might be him in a couple years, I hope not but it will be weird with only him left at home with us. Hope it's a good one tomorrow too. Will be thinking of you :)
Take care and enjoy the rest of your week. HUGS!!!
