Here is my take for the challenge:
I had such a great time working on this layout for FOUR different challenges combined for the Scraptober Fest Challenge Event!! My Scraps and More: I loved the beautiful color scheme, which was perfect for my photos from our recent vacation! Challenge YOUrself: It was fun scrapping a photo with ME in it! This photo of me with my husband at the beach is a favorite of mine!! Scrap our Stash: In addition, I added four different types of Washi tape (pink, yellow, blue, and aqua) to my page. The Memory Nest: Finally, I loved using the sketch, which I turned it on it's side and had some creative fun with it!
Now it's your turn! Check it out at all 4 of the different sites!! And most importantly, have fun!!
What a happy layout! Great!

Whoa! I can't believe you managed to fit ALL those challenges on one page! Superwoman! The frame looks great - as does your sun [set??? Presuming you'd not be up for sunrise, but I could quite possibly be wrong!!!] photo....& I really MUST use my washi more. I love it....but just to look at mostly! I was sad to hear about your MIL dying, too, but like I said. Faith is like a rock. We have firm ground! Always helps, I think :) Well, I HOPE it does, eh? Take care. Next month.....you gonna try for, say SIX challenges on one LO?????GIGGLES;)!!!
ReplyDeleteStunning top photo, gorgeous colours. And I love the contrast of the black and white photo. Thanks for using the sketch from The Memory Nest.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely layout! And how fabulous to fit all those challenges on one page! Beautiful memories too I would think!
ReplyDeleteWOW Sharon!! This is so pretty and WOW to using all the challenges!!! You are so good at pulling them all together and make it look easy. Not sure I could do all 4 at once time, maybe two. LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the blog visit, so sorry to hear about your MIL, hugs and prayers for your family. She will be in heaven with my grandma, they can sit and tell stories together. I have found 6 diaries my grandma kept and have been reading them. They were just daily note ones, nothing personal but I see a lot of me in them and think I get my story telling from her.
Did you see The Middle this week? I liked it but am wondering if they are going to make it more for older kids with the Sue at college and that crazy roommate of hers. I didn't like that part at all in this past weeks show.
Fall is still popping up here and chill is in the air more each day now. The sky has been amazing this week too, you would love it.
Take care friend! HUGS!!!
Hi! I couldn't help responding to your question for Sharon about The Middle. I didn't like the new episode, either. I've found that the longer a series runs, the weaker the writing becomes. The new shows simply aren't as charming as the older ones. The Brad thing bothers me, too. Is this show becoming a forum for controversial subjects? Sue is still my favorite character, but I wonder how much longer they can keep her "young" when the actress herself is looking older every year. I guess we'll see.
DeleteIt is sad when a TV show has been on the air for many years and disappoints us in it's final years.
DeleteLove your entry piece! This is quite a set of challenges!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous layout Sharon, I am loving the colour palette you have used. The month is running out fast and I must admit I felt a little over whelmed with the Scraptober Fest, but having read it here I think I might try to do at least a couple of the challenges
