Challenge YOUrself Challenge #21 is now open!

Hi everyone and good morning!  Welcome Friday - TGIF!!  I cannot tell you how beautiful the weather has been here the past week or so.  The humidity is gone and we have had some perfect summer days.  YAY!  I hope you are all having good days, too.

Today I would like to share with you the newest challenge over at Challenge YOUrself. Remember, it's the challenge blog that wants you to use photos of YOU on your layouts!

Just a reminder, Lynn, our blog owner says:

"Hey you! The one who likes to snap hundreds of pictures of everyone else. Yes, you know who you are! It's time to start getting in front of the camera and scrapping memories that include YOU in the photo! Join us once a month and challenge YOUrself!"

The challenge for this month is an amazing one as follows:
I loved this idea and immediately knew that I wanted to scrap photos of our oldest daughter, Katie, at her very first piano recital when she was eight years old.  She was amazing - she played the piano and sang!  I decided to keep it simple this time and let the photos shine.  I used paper that I love from Webster's Pages as my background:

 Here is my completed layout:

With some different views:

and a close up:

I encourage to check out the latest challenge at Challenge YOUrself this month!  It is a wonderful blog and it gives you a great excuse to scrap photos with YOU in them!

And in honor of summer, I would like to share some photos that were taken poolside last weekend:

Here's Anne jumping in the pool:

Here I am with my twin, Karen:

And the last photo is with Karen and Katie!  She's finally home after an intership at Stanford University!!!  We are enjoying her stay, even if only for a short time.  She will be going back to Penn State soon - for her senior year!  Where did the time go?

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!Enjoy! And thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today.  I love your visits!  HUGS!!
