Scrap our Stash Challenge #29!

Hi everyone and welcome to Thursday!  I am up today at the Scrap our Stash blog!

Here's the current challenge for this month:

And here is my take, entitled "I love our home:"

I really like the idea of using items from my stash and loved working on this challenge.  Here are the items that I used as follows:

P: punches (I used a square and paper edger punch)
A: arrow stamp
P: purple colored spritz (I used Dylusions crushed grape)
E: elastic band (I used a turquoise)
R: rick-rak (I used large white and small orange ric-rak)

Here are some different views:

And the Scrap our Stash prize for this month:

I hope you get a chance to check out my page over at Scrap our Stash and participate in the challenge, too!  I would love it you went over and checked it out!

I am also linking my layout to the Art Journal Journey Challenge for this month!

The theme for this month is "time!"  Please check out the challenge here!
(Thank you Johanna and Susi for encouraging me to link my layout to this challenge!)

In conclusion, I would like to share 3 photos that I took of our sunflowers:

Have a great rest-of-your week everyone!  HUGS to all!!!   ♥
Thanks so much for stopping by.  ♥  ♥  ♥

  1. I love your artwork, and I love your sunflowers!!! Every year I think about planting them. This time the chickens did that for me; there's a lovely sunflower coming up by the garage, a result of the 5-grain scratch that we buy for them. It's only one, but it inspires me to get more. Our growing season here in NC is long. I still have time.

  2. What an interesting challenge, and I do like your choice for the letters of paper. Love the watercolour background and the squares on turquoise and each little square image too. The different sunflowers are beautiful and your large photos are great too.

  3. Ohh so beautiful friend love the LO!
    And stunning photos....of your sunflowers!!!

  4. Sooooooo gorgeous! LOVING the colors and the placement of the squares!! And LOVING the photos too!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Hi Sharon! I hope things are good with you! I love sunflowers! My dad used to grow them on his farm, so seeing them brings back special memories! 10. Your sunflowers are AMAZING...they make me smile:) And I love your page. To me it looks like a picture hanging on a wall...but all on a LO! How clever is that! I did my entry at Camp Mojo....might take me a whiles to photograph and load up all TWENTY TWO pages I did!!!!!! And I've got a waaay busy week. Always the way, right??!!!

  11. Gorgeous! So fun to see the direction you took with PAPER. I think I could have done 50 different layouts using these letters and not thought of elastic, but it works so well!
