This week's colors are green + green + pink: ♥ + ♥ + ♥
Here is my worksheet:
I chose to use 2 different shades of watercolors for my greens and Lindy's Stamp Gang's Plumeria Pink for my pink. I knew that I wanted to use two photos that I took at a friend's garden at their July 4th picnic on Saturday:
Aren't they perfect for this week's colors? And what I especially love about these photos is the bee that seemed to be posing for me when I took them!
Here is my completed scrapbook page:

ReplyDeleteOh I saw this on facebook and so glad to see the photos up a bit bigger.. love this layout.. I love bees and I love how you have cut out the flower like that too.. I tried to get a photo of a bee on my daisy bush this morning but it did not turn out like your photo!!! such pretty colors together too.. and love your friends garden.. I hope your week is going well!!
ReplyDeleteI love cone flowers! They're pretty, and they don't require much specialized care. (Despite the Green Denise moniker, I don't have much of a green thumb.) Also, I love the way that cone flowers attract bees, butterflies, and birds. You definitely had a great idea to honor these flowers with a scrapbook page. The way you used the colors is gorgeous, and I especially like the way that you overlapped the two rectangular photos. <3
ReplyDeleteI just love your layout, Sharon! I'm so impressed with your photography skills! I know a bit about Photoshop Elements but I don't work at it enough to get really good. I'm sorry to not have taken part in SoC this year but I just didn't want a weekly commitment. I love what you've done with it and I've been keeping up with the weekly colors! Hope you're having a good summer!
