The Summer of Color: Week 3!

Good Morning everyone!  I would like to share my entry for the Summer of Color: Week 3!

The week will be coming to an end before I know it, and I want to get my project up for you all to see.
Week 3's colors are elegant and dreamy:
Lavender & Grey
with a Smudge, Splash or Pop of Plum

I decided to make a scrapbook page and used a photo that I posted last week.  I took this during John's and my trip to Cancun, Mexico, and I still I think I am in a dream when I think about that beautiful place.

This particular photo was taken while we were walking along the beach one morning.

And here's my scrapbook page made with this week's SOC colors:

And here are some different views:

I added a palm tree that I printed on vellum at the top to give my page some interest:

That's it for this week!  Kristin, I can't tell how much I enjoyed working with these colors!  I am looking forward to a brand new challenge next week.  Thank you!

And a big thank you to all of you who stopped by my blog today!  I love your visits.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Happy creating . . .

  1. This is lovely, Sharon!! I love it and you used the colors so effectively! That photo is beautiful and it was perfect for the colors. These were difficult colors for me. And, we've had company this week so I'm a little slow in getting my tag finished. But, I love this challenge! Have a great weekend!
