Here is what I did with this challenge:
My "trendy" items were doodling (which was inspired by Michelle's "Calm" page - you can see it here!), arrows, machine stitching, and tiny hearts.

I also want to share some more photos from the trip my family took to NYC for Johns' and my 24th anniversary this year. They are pictures of our two beautiful daughters who mean the absolute world to me.

Ooooh...saw this over at YOUrself...loooove the 'gentle' colour palette...& CHEVRONS. Did you mention them???? And DOODLIING...that is the awesomest bit of all...love your doodles! My boy is just home from the USA for 8 days [too short!].....even tho he's 25, he's ma babeeeee....& I miss him....so it's great to have him round...he's working up Maine way.....
