All things trendy!

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather today.

 This month, Challenge YOUrself is all about using trendy items on your layout as follows:


"Put those scrapbooking trends to work on your page!  Use a minimum of THREE trendy things on your layout.  List your items.  Don't forget to include a photo of YOU in your layout.  Be brave and get the courage to try something new!  Have fun with this challenge."

Here is what I did with this challenge:

My "trendy" items were doodling (which was inspired by Michelle's "Calm" page - you can see it here!), arrows, machine stitching, and tiny hearts.

I also want to share some more photos from the trip my family took to NYC for Johns' and my 24th anniversary this year.  They are pictures of our two beautiful daughters who mean the absolute world to me.  



I can't even begin to tell you must how very much I love them. ♥

    Ooooh...saw this over at YOUrself...loooove the 'gentle' colour palette...& CHEVRONS. Did you mention them???? And DOODLIING...that is the awesomest bit of all...love your doodles! My boy is just home from the USA for 8 days [too short!].....even tho he's 25, he's ma babeeeee....& I miss him....so it's great to have him round...he's working up Maine way.....

    Sharon, you always put the page together so well- I can't even begin to think that there would be any other way to do this- trendy or not! The colors are perfect.
    Happy Anniversary! Your NYC pics are nice. One of these summers I am going to bring my kiddo to see the sights there.
