Love can move mountains!

Good Morning everyone!  Today, Cindy deRosier has a special treat for you at Ideas For Scrapbookers!

She came up with a brand new sketch and asked our contributing artists to give her their ideas of what the sketch should look like on a scrapbook page.  Here is her sketch:

My inspiration for the layout that I made using Cindy's sketch came from just being tired of winter and snow.  I made my page using a photo from our vacation last summer!

Here is my take:

  . . . and some close ups:

My favorite part of making this was using the lyrics from one of my favorite songs sung by Celine Dion!  And I got out my Big Shot and Tim Holtz template to make the rosettes!  If you would like to see other beautiful layouts using Cindy's sketch, check out Ideas for Scrapbookers today!

We had a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather!  How about you?  We were able to take my mom out in her wheelchair again for a short walk - with Karen, Katie, and Anne.  She loved it and seeing and getting to talk to Katie and Anne, too!

We also got the chance to go to New York with Katie and Anne on Saturday.  It was a beautiful day:

Here is a pigeon posing for us:

We got the opportunity to walk along the Hudson River:

It was such a beautiful day:

And as we were getting ready to leave the city, we went for a ride on this beautiful old carousel in Bryant Park:

(As you can see, there are still piles of snow everywhere!)

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you have a wonderful day and week!
Hugs to you all!
