So Happy Together!

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

For those of you that live in the USA, happy President's Day weekend.

And happy Chinese New Year, too!  It's the year of the dog!

I am here today to share a layout that I made for the current challenge at Art Journal Journey!

This month's theme is "Animals from A to Z" and is hosted by Rike!  You can learn more about her and her beautiful art by checking out her blog!

As I started to think about which animal I would scrap about, I took my cue from the Year of the Dog.  I had a photo of my daughter, Katie, and our dog, Nutcracker taken way back in 1999!  The two of them were inseperable from the moment Katie was born.  I remember whenever we took a walk with baby Katie, Cracker would alway get between a new person walking up to her stroller and her before "letting" the person take a look.

Here is my page:

I had a wonderful time making this layout for the AJJ challenge this month.  I want to thank Rike, Susi, and everyone there.  And I encourage you to check out their blog.  There are so many talented artists to get inspiration from!!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!  Love and hugs to all.

  6. I always love seeing your scrapbook pages and wish I had time to visit more often than I do. This is a fabulous layout, the photos are fantastic, and the composition with the city in the middle of the page is both clever and unexpected. Thanks for joining us at Art Journal Journey, dear Sharon.

  7. It's a great photograph, as always, Sharon, and you're so inventive how you've used it with the fun colourful houses and flowers and the way Katie and Nutcracker are at the window of their own red house.
