The Summer of Color 5: Week 2!

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful Monday so far!  It has been very hot and humid, but we just got some rain, so hopefully it will cool things off a bit.

I am sharing week #2's Summer of Color Challenge with you all.



The color scheme this week is a totally fun one:   pink + pink + orange.  Here is my worksheet:

I wanted to use one of the photos that I took of Katie and Anne back in March.  I absolutely love this one!

I also want to share some exciting news with you!  I am so honored and happy to have been selected to be a part of the Scrap our Stash design team:


The blog is run by 2 very talented women and the current design team is amazing!  And I have found that their challenges are fun and inspirational!  Who wouldn't like being encouraged to scrap what is already in your stash?

    It's always lovely to see a photo of your family, and it's so good how you have incorporated it here with the colours. I like your use of the orange fabric, an original idea.
    Nice work on the (almost) empty space to the left too, with just the tiny collage at the top.
