I would love to share a layout that I just made today. For all of you scrapbookers out there, when I decided to work on a scrapbook page today, I started looking for inspiration on the web and definitely found some at Sketchabilities!
Their sketches are absolutely gorgeous and look like works of art in and of themselves. Here is current sketch - it's a real beauty:
The layout I created using the sketch is as follows:
and here are some different views:
I used a photo taken in Paris, then converted it to black and white. I have been wanting to use the paper "Happy Thoughts" from Webster's Pages for such a long time, and finally found the perfect sketch and photo to go with it!!! Thank you so much, Sketchabilities for the inspiration from your wonderful blog!
And I would like to end as I always do, with some recent photos that I took. These were taken in my mom's garden the first week she was home:
It has been a pleasure to see my mom at her home every day and to get to see her flowers, too! I am very happy to be taking care of her for now!
And thank you all so much for visiting my blog today. I treasure your visits! Have a great week. HUGS!!
So beautiful page! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love your page; the layout is nice, and your touches made it wonderful. I enjoy seeing your personality and interests in these pages.
ReplyDeleteSpring flowers. So pretty! I enjoyed the photos. Here in North Carolina we seem to have skipped spring as well, but our spring flowers came out in March. Right now our wild blackberry bushes are blossoming --- fruit in a few weeks. We have them all over our woods. Some folks consider them pesky. Not me. I just have to beat the birds to the harvest!
Sharon, your posts always inspire me! That layout is gorgeous! You really do make me want to start scrapbooking again! And your photos are sooo beautiful too!!! Thanks for sharing!
