Challenge YOUrself #17: Around Here
Record some of your daily blessings
(snippets of your normal day)
Remember to include YOU in the photo :)
Here is my take on the challenge:
Since Easter was last weekend, I used a photo of Anne and I from Easter last year. And I have been obsessed with Webster's Pates papers lately. This beautiful sheet of paper is from the "Dream in Color" collection!
And here are two different views:
And to end, I would like to share some photos that I have taken during the last month:
This is the farm down the road from our home:
Jacobsburg Park one foggy evening:
A snow storm that we had last week. I took this with my cell phone through the windshield:
The morning after the snow:
We long for spring! You can see the snow falling in the background:

Hello Sharon!! So happy you posted, have missed seeing you. Gorgeous layout and pictures, especially the last one!! We had more snow too but haven't warmed up that much as you have. Can't wait for spring to really get here and stay. Glad you got to enjoy a little warm weather finally, it's been a long winter again.
ReplyDeleteThe Middle has been so funny too, hope your watching it and keeping up. Love the one where they saw Mike singing in the car, I had tears coming down from laughing so hard.
Hope all is well with you and family. Take care and thanks for sharing! HUGS!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Sharon, I am loving this style of yours and always enjoy your seeing your photo's. We had a touch of snow here yesterday brrrr, just getting us ready for the weather in Scotland . We leave today to head to Sydney and fly out for Europe on Friday morning, for 5 weeks

This looks fantastic! Love your photos, as always!
ReplyDeleteHi there! Oo that snow makes me feel cold! We are heading into the middle of autumn here and we have had a shock drop in our temperature this morning! Bbrrrrr! But the snow photos do look so pretty on the landscape, but I reckon your land is waiting impatiently for warmer days! Love your layout, love the cut out photo! And I hope you had a lovely Easter too!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do this but it is GORGEOUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteLooove that 'cross' one on the bottom....VERY clever! Love all your photos, of course! And your scrap page is amazing...gorgeous pp. And the way you've added the dimension....brill!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your lay out, Sharon! You do such beautiful layouts and I love the picture of you and Anne! I think everyone is longing for spring in the Mid-Atlantic this year. We've had a few good days but this week it's been rainy and chilly. I love the pictures of your neighborhood. Snow is beautiful when it first falls but I like when it goes away quickly! I hope all is well with you and your family. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I really appreciate hearing from you! Have a great week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, all of it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!! I love the soft, Easter colors and your hands in the air in the picture - and LOVE the sewing on your page. PLUS, HOW stinking cute is Anne - love that chalkboard! So, may I ask, is she loving Hunger Games? Kendra is 9 but an avid reader and I'm looking for another series to get her into - I was thinking Harry Potter but is the Hunger Games appropriate for her age? Thanks for your thoughts when you can! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Kristin! Anne is 12 and I wondered about Hunger Games being a little to graphic for her. But I talked to her teachers at school, and it seems to be a great choice for her at her age.
DeleteHello Sharon - waving back!
ReplyDeleteLove the pink clouds and the lovely tree with all the leaves. It's a super-happy picture.
It looks cold in your photos. We've had a few warm days here, sunny and clear.
Hugs to you.
I hear you on those Webster's papers. Yum! Love what you've done with this one, especially the way those balloons frame you and Anne so beautifully! And your photos are gorgeous! TFS!
ReplyDeleteAnne is growing up so fast and is a beautiful young lady. Your page is awesome, and your photography is always so stunning. Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us!
ReplyDeleteI love your layout Sharon! I'm obsessed with Websters Pages too and I love what you keep doing with them! And those photos.....sigh......
ReplyDeleteBrilliant layout - love that paper too - you work it so well!
