Bucket List!

Good Morning everyone and welcome Saturday!  I am so happy to see the sun this morning and hope that a lot of this snow melts away today.  I also hear that our temps are going into the 40's, which is wonderful news.  YAY!

I am here today to share Challenge YOUrself's challenge #16:

Challenge YOUrself #16:  The Bucket List
What are some of the things you want to do in your life?
Or have you recently achieved something on you bucket list or a goal?
Tell us about it.
Remember to include YOU in the photo :)

Here is  my layout.  I included my bucket list on the tag - it's from when I was 30 years old:

To me, there is nothing more important that for John and I and our family to enjoy each other.  I have checked off what I already accomplished on my bucket list and there are still some things left to do!!

♥ ♥

And since it has been so long since I last posted, I would like to share some moments in pictures that have taken place in our family since last month:

Anne celebrated her 12th birthday on January 15th and had her first girls' sleepover:
(I can never understand why it is called a sleepover when very little sleep occurs!!)

We have been given a lot of snow & ice this winter, Anne and I decided to make the best of it:

Anne has been enjoying reading this semester and especially likes the Hunger Games series:

♥ We went to NYC last weekend to celebrate our 25th Anniversary.
The hotel knew that it was our 25th anniversary and this is what we found in our room:
(WOW!  We were so excited!!!)

♥ And here are some more photos from our weekend:
(Here's Anne on the ferry to the Statue of Liberty.  Look at the ice on the water!)

(Seeing the Statue of Liberty was an amazing experience and one of the items on my bucket list!)

(We ate at "The Spotted Pig" for lunch and had a delicious meal!)

(This was one of the views from the top of the Empire State Building!  Spectacular!!!)

( . . . and to show you just how cold it was last weekend - here is the fountain in Bryant Park!)

♥ We missed having Katie home, and we were sorry that she couldn't;t come to NYC with us, but we know that she is having some amazing experiences at Penn State this semester!  LOVE you , Katie!!!
(Katie with the Lion!)

♥ Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.  I can't tell you how much your visit means to me!  I hope you are all having a nice weekend.  (And for all of you scrappers, if you have a chance, please check out Challenge YOUrself this month!)  HUGS!!

  2. Your layout is so beautiful, Sharon! It looks so spring-y! We all need some spring here and, like you, we are supposed to get a taste this week! Congratulations on your anniversary. It looks like a fabulous trip to NYC! Isn't the Statue of Liberty amazing? My father came into New York as a young man past that statue in 1920! It always moves me to see it.
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend! Enjoy this beautiful sunshine and your lovely family.
