Another Halloween party page!

Good Morning everyone!  I am sure that lots of you have gotten snow already, but we had our first this past week.  It was enough to coat the ground and trees, and we still have some left on our back deck!  Does this mean that Winter has officially arrived?  I hope not!  I am not quite ready to move from my favorite season to Winter!

Today I would like to share another Halloween party layout with you.  We celebrate Halloween at one of our "travel group's family" home every year.  It has become a wonderful tradition, and we enjoy seeing how much our adopted children have grown each year.  I shared some photos from the party, but I really liked the 2 that I scrapped on this page.  Once again, I used the current sketch from
Stuck on U Sketches.

Th fun sketch that I used is from their November 7th challenge:

And here is my layout:

I really enjoyed using Leah's sketch and had fun with another stitched circle!  Thank you SOUS for providing such a wonderful sketch for us to work with!!

And last but definitely not least, I would like to share some recent black and white photos that I took:

Our black-eyed Susans:

Taken at Jacobsberg Park in Nazareth, PA:

Taken at the Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, PA:

 Taken at Kreidersville, PA:

And these were taken during my walks in our neighborhood.
We have a cool farm right down the street from us:

Thank you all so much for visiting my blog today.  I hope you enjoyed peeking into this part of the world!  It is a serene and beautiful place to live!!!

And if you have a moment to scrap, check out SOUS!

  2. Fantastic layout, Sharon! Your Halloween party sounds like so much fun and such a wonderful tradition. Your black and white photos are gorgeous. They are so evocative and this favorite season. I love Fall even though it seems to go by so fast. Stay warm. We haven't gotten any snow but it's cold and going to get colder this week. I hope winter isn't coming early! Have a great Sunday!

  6. Fab page! You stick with those Autumn tones & stick your head in the [proverbial] sand, too....ignore that 'white stuff', as Mitra P calls it!!! I'm enjoying the stitched circle idea, too! Soooo much easier than trying to cut 'em out, I find:) And your photos are GLORIOUS.....my fave is the tree reflections one & the bridge one.....& honestly, if someone writes 'Maine' or 'Pennsylvania'.....my heart starts to pitter patter quicker! My boy is going to be working on the West Coast for 3-4 years, if things go to plan...so maybe I ought to get over to your neck 'o' the woods at some stage....:):):)

  24. Wow Sharon. You did a fantastic job interpreting the sketch. It looks even better the way you interpreted it, because the stitching made all the difference. I am always impressed by what you make, because it is always so well done with such great attention to detail.

Your B & W photos are sincerely gorgeous. Such great composition. I kept thinking "a girl with her camera," as I perused and enjoyed each of these beauties. Your photos are as lovely as your scrapbook pages.
