This month, we have a sketch challenge. You all who have been following me, know how much I love sketches, so this challenge was right up my alley. Here's the sketch:
And here's my take:
With some different views and close-ups:
I loved working on this challenge. The sketch was amazing to work with, and I knew exactly what picture I wanted to use with ME in it for the challenge. The one of my with my beautiful daughters!!! My sister, Karen, too the wonderful photo with my camera at the Women's 5K Classic this year. Thanks so much, Kar!

If you are in the mood to make a new scrapbook page, head over to Challenge YOUrself to see what the rest of the design team came up with. They are so talented and creative! In Lynn's words: "There is not a theme this month ~ just the sketch :) So feel free to incorporate it with any other challenges, as long as you follow their rules too. But remember YOU must be in the photo!"
As I started process of creating my layout, I knew that I wanted to enter the One Little Word challenge this month, too, because their word this month is "Thankful!"
Please check out their blog, too. I am always amazed by the amazing works of art I see there, inspired by just one little word!

And in closing, I would love to share some photos that I took at the Women's 5K Classic:
Thank you all so much for stopping by and visiting my blog! I am so happy that you did! Enjoy your weekend! HUGS to you!

ReplyDeleteEvery time you go and look at your page you see something else which just makes you want to go and look again! Beautifully interpreted, i like the pink amongst the trees and your photo is fun :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteI love the page you created with that sketch. Its a wonderful approach for a layout. I surely enjoyed the wonderful walking photo, too! ( What a beautiful family you have). I am a distance walker but not in competitions. I do four miles every couple of days and alternate with low-impact aerobics. I started working out seriously when I turned 30; that was almost 40 years ago! I love it.
