I knew that I wanted to scrap a favorite photo that I took at a Halloween party that we attended last weekend. We try to go every year, because Anne's friends from China always go, and I have made lifelong friendships with the moms of our adopted children.
Here is the photo that I wanted to scrap:
Here is the current sketch from SOUS (October 24, 2014):
And my take on the sketch:
A simple layout and I followed the sketch pretty much to the t.
Here are 2 different views and close-ups:
I would love to share some photos that I took at the Halloween party, because it was the most wonderful extravaganza:
We were greeted by pumpkins and decorations everywhere:
A cool pumpkin patch:
Anne and Grace picked their pumpkins:
All dressed up:
And of course, we had to get a photo of the dads:
Playing in the leaves:
And a spooky pinata:
The end of the day:
It was so beautiful:

First off..I immediately went to follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love the layout…but I love even more all the photos you shared and how
much it made me wish I was there too!
I also have to say I kinda am drawn to anyone that throws down the "adoption" word.
As an adoptive parent myself, it just means the world to me to meet others who
care that way =)
Thank you SO much for sharing and I am SO glad that you found our site! Yay! Pretty please come back often and share…would love to get to know you!
Warmly, Leah (SOUS co-leader)
