A color challenge!

Good Morning everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  For those of you who live in the USA, I know you enjoyed celebrating the 4th of July!  Our weather here was absolutely beautiful!!

Here are some photos that I took of Katie and Anne at Nazareth Boro Park on Sunday morning when no one else was around.  The park is right down the street from us, and we feel very blessed to have it near our home.

And now for the fun part!  Today I would like to share the latest challenge at
Challenge YOUrself.

This month we have a color challenge:

I loved these muted colors and was struck at how perfect they are for a summer layout.

I picked 2 photos that were taken during our recent vacation to Cancun, Mexico.  Of course, one of them had ME in it!

Here's my final layout:

With some different views:

I encourage you to check out Challenge YOUrself this month.  The design team has outdone themselves and there is a wonderful prize to win, too!

And thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!  HUGS!!!!

I'm glad you liked the tag I made for this week. They aren't my colors but they are certainly summery and I ended up liking it when it was finished.
I hope you had a wonderful 4th. It was glorious weather! Have a great week, Sharon.

  6. Thanks so much for visiting and commenting on my blog!

Your neighborhood looks really lovely - I especially love the old stone bridge over the brook. And your DT layout for Challenge YOUrself is very cool, too, and neat colours - I'll definitely join if I have a chance, despite of being away from home a lot this month!

  9. Hello Sharon, so happy I saw this today. You have amazed me with your layout again, so pretty and just right. What a fun day for all of you, how nice that they let you get these sweet pictures too. Some days it's hard for me to get them of mine.

I just posted my T day post, YAY a day early. Thanks so much for the visit on my last one and enjoying it. Was watching reruns of The Middle today with kids and thought of you. That show still makes me laugh. Hope the new ones in the fall will still be just as good.
Have a great week my friend.
