The Summer of Color 2014 begins!

I have been anxiously awaiting the start of the Summer of Color this year.

After I had so much fun participating last year, I just knew that I wanted to play along again this year, too.  I definitely have to thank Dawn, who invited me to join in on the fun last year!  Please check out Kristin's blog to find out all of the details.  But in a nutshell, Kristin provides six weeks of color prompts and we get to join in on the fun.  Here are some examples of what people have created in past years:

As you can see, the sky's the limit! And I can't tell you how inspiring and fun it is to check out all of the talented participants'  blogs as the weeks go by.

And now the fun begins with the first color prompt:
Aqua Blue & Yellow with a Smudge, Splash or Pop of Hot Pink

My inspiration came from this photo that I recently took of Anne.  As you can see, it has all of the colors:

Blue in her shirt, yellow in the flowers, and a splash of pink in the trees behind her head!

Here is the quick and easy scrapbook page that I made:

And some close ups:

Thank you so much, Kristin, for hosting the Summer of Color again this year!  I cannot wait to play along
in the next 5 weeks!

And thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog today!
