Good Morning everyone! I cannot believe that we are half way through January already. 2014 is really flying by. We have had lots of weather changes - lots of snow, ice, freezing rain, then warm weather with temps in the 60's. Crazy!!
I would like to share the latest challenge at Color Me Scrappy. You are going to love it this time - we have neutral colors and a twist using tribal elements - arrows, feathers, etc.
Here are the colors:
And my take:
with some close-ups:
I loved working with these colors and thought that the picture of Anne that I had already converted to black and white was perfect for this layout. I used some of the chippies from ScrapFX - I won a challenge a while back and had these on hand.
Today is Anne's 11th birthday! I still cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. She is practically grown up!!! I want to wish her a very, very happy birthday with lots of love from her mom and dad!!!!
Here is a recent photo of Anne with her Aunt Karen:
And Anne has already woken up (it's 5:30 AM!!) to see what her birthday has in store for her,
so I must go . . .
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you get a chance to check out the challenge at Color Me Scrappy! And an update on my mom: She is out of ICU, but it will be a long road to recovery for her. We continue to pray for God's grace in her recovery. Thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers for her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
