Trick-or-Treat!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Happy Saturday!
We are bracing ourselves for Hurricane Sandy.  Here is an interactive map to watch her progress:

Sending thoughts and prayers out to everyone in Sandy's path - stay safe and dry throughout her storm.

On a less stressful note, today I would like to share with you the fun we had yesterday and the day before.  Anne's school celebrated "fall harvest" and we went to trick-or-treat night at my sister's home in Bethlehem, PA!

Here are some photos taken at the Halloween Parade now called the "Fall Harvest" parade . . .

Lining up for the parade.  It was chilly and drizzling on Thursday afternoon.  But the weather did not seem to dampen the moods of the kids!!

Here are some siblings waiting for the parade and having fun in the process!

Here they come:

If I had to pick a favorite costume from the parade,t his one would be it!!  So fun and creative!!!!

Oh, I see Anne!  It looks like she is having a blast with her class!!

I can't even begin to tell you how heartwarming it was for me to see Anne at the parade.  I could get all chocked up just typing this right now.  She looked so pretty and happy!!!!

Now, to share some photos from last night.  My sister Karen and her husband Tim graciously asked us to their home to celebrate trick or treat night.  We have one in Nazareth, PA, but ever since we moved "out in the country" we don't get many trick-or-treaters.  Last year, we had a record low of TWO children coming to our home.  So in order to make it more fun for Anne, Aunt Karen and Uncle Tim asked us to their home last night.

Here are some of the highlights:

Their neighbors were all decked out for the fun last night!

And here we are back at Aunt Karen's:

Aunt Karen even decorated her palm tree for Halloween!

Anne took this one of Karen and me!

Yummy desserts:

And I love this clock that they have hanging in their kitchen:

Happy Fall everyone, and Happy Halloween!

Please be careful during the storm and stay safe, warm, and dry everyone.  Sending hugs and prayers . . .

  3. Great photos!

So, do you have your bottled water, MREs, and batteries ready? The weather channel is saying at least three days of power outages. Yikes.
