Here are some of the photos I took on Tuesday morning:
Looked out the front window - our tree was down. But miraculously it did not hit our house!
The wind was still blowing fiercely:
Our neighbors' jungle gym ended up on our fence!
Pictures of our downed tree:
My heart goes out to all who are affected by Sandy . . .
Now on to some scrapbooking business: my latest layouts . . .
My first page was made using Heather Landry's awesome sketch/template # 17 as follows:
Her sketches are always so versatile and fun to work with. You can check out her blog, entitled Miracles Momma Designs, here! And here post with her latest sketch is here! I made my page using photos taken at the pumpkin patch and Jacobsburg Park last weekend!
Thank you so much, Heather, for the inspiration!!!
And finally, I would like to share a layout I just made for the most recent
Color Me Scrappy challenge going on.
Check out their blog here!
My page was made with the following color palate and sketch:
And here is my page:
The colors and awesome sketch were so much fun to work with, especially at this time of the year! I used photos from Anne's school's Halloween parade taken in October. I can't begin to tell you how filled with joy these photos make me feel every time I look at them because Anne looks so proud and happy!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I really appreciate your visits and each and every comment!
Stay warm and dry, everyone!
