Heather made an amazing sketch and example page:
To see her example page featuring her beautiful daughter, check out Miracles Momma Designs!
I was so impressed with her page and loved how she used her hearts and doilies. She inspired me to dust of my Cricut cutting machine (I don't think that I have used it in over a year!) and cut hearts and doilies using the Storybook Cartridge.
Here is my page using a photo that I took when we were in San Francisco on new Year's Day in 2011.
I was going through my old photos and really love this one of the Golden Gate Bridge. We took a family vacation to California at the end of 2010, and we visited the places that John and I did after getting married and living there in 1990.
I loved using Heather's sketch and seeing her example page, too! It was so much fun to scrap this photo and make my layout.
Check out Heather's blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with using Sketch #32. It always surprises me how different each layout is, even though we all used the same sketch. Each one has their own distinct, unique, and wonderful style.
That's it for today. It is such a beautiful Sunday, I am getting ready to go for a walk and take some pictures. I hope you are all enjoying it, too.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

That page is so pretty! I love the colors. I'm a bit amused by the picture, as it looks like it was taken from the nude section of Baker Beach. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere is that???? I didn't even know it existed, Cindy!
