I Said Yes . . . for Challenge YOUrself and Art Journal Journey Monthly!

 Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Challenge YOUrself! 

Challenge YOUrself #149 runs from May 7, 2026, through June 4th, 2026, at midnight EST.

This month, Challenge YOUrself is focusing on using a black-and-white photo on your pages. 

I created a mixed media scrapbook page for this challenge:

I've been feeling very nostalgic lately, so I chose a black-and-white photo taken back in March of 1990 as the basis for my page!  After a whirlwind engagement, John and I had just gotten married and had moved into our new apartment in California.  (We moved there from Pennsylvania!) My mom and dad were visiting us on Easter Sunday, and one of them snapped this photo!  I used a combination of Mintay, along with 49 and Market papers and embellishments to create my page.

I hope you have the opportunity to participate in Challenge YOUrself this month. It’s the fifth of their final six challenges. That's right! They will be closing their challenge blog after their 150th challenge in June.
