Friends forever!

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful September so far!  I cannot believe that autumn will be here this week.  I hope that you are enjoying your September, no matter what season you are going welcoming in!

Today I would like to share my latest scrapbook page:  I made this layout for the current Dusty Attic challenge.  Here is their beautiful mood board for September:


And the only "rule" is that you require Dusty Attic chipboard used on your masterpiece. 

Isn't that great?  I took my cue from the beautiful pussy willow and gorgeous colors.

Thank you so much, Dusty Attic, for the inspiration this month. ♥  I couldn't have made it without you!  I have been waiting for the right time to scrap this special photo, a photo of my daughter, Anne, with her travel group friends, taken back in 2009 at Pearl S. Buck in Perkasie, PA.  We got together that day to celebrate their Chinese heritage.  It was a beautiful summer day in June:

I cannot believe that the older girls are 13 now!  WOW!  Talk about time flying . . .  And they are all are growing up so beautifully! ♥ 

I will end my post today with the quote that I used on my layout:

    Your layout looks gorgeous, I love the blue hessian under your photo and love the circle frame too. and the photo is sooo special.. a beautiful take on the DA challenge.. precious memories in the other photos too.. and yes the kids grow up way too fast.. but it is nice to watch them turn into very wonderful people too.. We are heading into spring here, but it feels like winter is trying to hang on for a bit longer!! have a great week..

    What a gorgeous photo to scrap - & memory to have as well. And you have used the DA chippies to perfection....that scalloped circle looks FANTASTIC....especially blinged up like that! LOOOVe from me :):)

    Such a cute photo and it sure does tell one about how Anne has grown. Love the chippies and textures on your page and love the colouring too. The burlap piece is gorgeous! A little touch of bling is perfect too! xx

    The inspiration is beautiful and your take on it is lovely too. I like the way you have used the chipboard (I would have found that difficult) and shown the Friends Forever in the photo.
    The three photos of the girls are utterly charming.
    Pooh always knew just the right thing to say.
