Sweet Friends . . .

Hi everyone!  Today I would like to share a new layout I made for the current More than Words Challenge! I am trying to stick to my New Year's resolution by entering one challenge a month for one year.One thing this resolution has done for me is that it really motivates me to create one new layout a month!   . . . and it's hard for me to believe that it's August already!  ♥

When I looked at the More than Words blog, it blew my mind how much they inspire so many people to create scrapbook pages that are gorgeous and works of art!  If you have a chance you should check it out! ♥

The word friends really spoke to me this month.  I picked photos of Anne with our dog, Kita, taken in the summer of 2014.  I was taking a photography class and shooting some photos of Anne by the pool when Kita came by and just had to get in the act.  I think these photos really depict the friendship between Anne and her dog, Kita!  I loved the creative part of the challenge, too.  Circles are perfect for the friend theme and I used them in so many different ways here - the photos, the scallops with little circles, the stamping, and my embellies!  And I used the lyrics from a favorite song: "That's What Friends Are For."  ♥

I cannot hank you enough, More than Words, for the wonderful inspiration this month! ♥
