My garden . . .

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Thursday!  I am really looking forward to the weekend, how about you?  It will be here before we know it.  YAY!

Today I would like to share a layout that I made for the Sketchy Boards Challenge and Art Journal Journey.

Sketchy Boards has a sketch and an inspiration photo each month.  I have never participated in this challenge site before and is part of my New Year's Resolution to take part in 1 new challenge a month for this year.  I really love their sketch and photo, check them out:

Their amazing sketch:

And their wonderful inspiration photo:

I also want to submit my layout to the Art Journal Journey challenge this month!

Their theme is "In my garden there is . . ."

And here is my layout:

With some close-ups:

I love planting flowers in my garden pots every year!  It is the highlight of my summer.  I used some of the photos that I took to make my page.  Thank you so much, Sketchy Boards Challenge and Art Journal Journey for inspiring me to make my layout!

And thank you for stopping by my blog today!  I hope you are having a wonderful week so far!  Hugs to all of you!!!

  20. It's lovely how you have used the turquoise and red, and I always admire how you use the sketch and make it your own, as you've done here. The checks and spots and flowers and all make such a fresh-looking piece.
