I can't . . .
Today I would like to share a layout that I made for Scrap our Stash's Stash Challenge #32.
I love using up items in my stash! This month I used the following items for the challenge:
A~Arrow (pink chipboard)
L~Lace
L~Lace
B~Beads (aqua and pink)
U~the letter "U" (in my title: I love U)
M~Metal pin and chain
S~Star template and star printed paper
U~the letter "U" (in my title: I love U)
M~Metal pin and chain
S~Star template and star printed paper
And here is my layout:
I found this photo of John and I taken back in 1998 and knew that I wanted to scrap it for this challenge. We were going to a dance with two of my sisters and their husbands and had a wonderful evening. It was just like going to the prom! (And look how young we both looked back then!)
Here are some different views:
I really enjoyed making this page. And speaking of using items in my stash, I used paper from Pinkfresh Studios that I was hoarding for months! It's called "Happy Things." I am glad that I finally had a reason to use it!!!
I encourage all of you scrappers out there to join in on the fun at Scrap our Stash this month.
And I would like to share some photos that I took of Anne in her Halloween costume this year. She is growing up so quickly and went trick-or-treating with friends and then had a Halloween sleepover this year. So I had to snap some photos of her quickly before she left for her fun.
Here's our Spider Girl:

ReplyDeletefabulous colour combination and isn't nice that we can look at a photo that brings back such lovely memories and even better that you have documented . Your spider girl looks fabulous, Halloween is not such a big thing here in Australia, our GD went to a Halloween Party though and she dressed up as Dorothy from the wizard of Oz. I agree they grow up so quickly

ReplyDeleteFabulous LO... love that fibre in this!! And yes, we must scrap our stash more for sure!! Anne looks amazing as spiderman!! She would have had heaps of fun!
ReplyDeleteHello Sharon, I've missed you, it's been a crazy busy two weeks for me. I haven't left for a weekend in years much alone two weekends in a row. So good to be home again and catching up. I enjoyed both my retreats, will be posting them tomorrow or Friday!! Thank you for your comment and birthday wishes for Sam, he had a great day.
ReplyDeleteI always like this challenge you do, so creative to use up your scraps this way. How sweet your layout is too, wow 1998 is a long time ago. Great job on the scraps and the sweet layout as always.
I like how Annie's costume isn't a full one, so easy to more comfortable I bet. LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Sam was spider man when he was 4 and the head mask was to hard to wear and the costume to scratchy, lol. So I really love hers and the posing she did for you. GO ANNIE!!
Hope all is well with you friend, the weather has spoiled us this month hasn't it. So glad we could go out and enjoy it all month long. Hard to believe it's almost over, my favorite holiday is just around the corner, YIPPEE!!!
I have been enjoying the Middle more, thank goodness. No more roommates for Sue please, lo. Hoping it will be good tonight too. I must say seeing Mike going through his phase was funny, he's usually so quiet and acts like things don't bother him but underneath he is a softie :)
Take care and see you again soon! Hugs and love friend!
Your Annie is growing up way too fast. Love the spider woman outfit.
