The Summer of Color: Week 5!

Hi everyone and welcome to The Summer of Color:  Week 5!

This week's colors are as follows:
Red & Royal Blue
with a Smudge, Splash or Pop of Light Blue

I love these colors and thought they were perfect for my 4th of July photos!  Yes, I decided to go with the patriotic theme!!!  I took these at my cousin's annual picnic this year.  Here are some pictures from the party:

My cousin's son just got a new puppy and everyone was enjoying him!

He even took an unexpected dip in the pool:

And everyone had a great time.  Just look at all of the smiles:

Me, Karen, and Cindy:

Here's Lola with  my mom and Aunt Marlene in the background:
(Yes, we brought my mom to the picnic!  YAY!)

Beautiful party decor:

And here's Logan and Anne enjoying the pool!

Here is the scrapbook page that I made!  I picked three party photos and came up with this layout using the wonderful colors from this week's challenge:

Once again, thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.

  7. I considered going patriotic, but I don't make scrapbook pages, so your art would have been better than mine, anyway. I love how you colored everything perfectly with the SOC colors, even before you got around to the scrapbook page. If I ever start scrapbooking, I'll be around for lessons! This is GORGEOUS!!
