Thursday brings new challenges!

Good Morning everyone!  I have some very exciting news to share this morning.  A brand new challenge blog has opened and I am very humbled and happy to be a part of their design team!  The blog is called Challenge YOUrself  and is all about helping you to be more comfortable about scrapping about YOU:

"Hey you! The one who likes to snap hundreds of pictures of everyone else. Yes, you know who you are! It's time to start getting in front of the camera and scrapping memories that include YOU in the photo! Join us once a month and challenge YOUrself!"

I hope you get a chance to check it out!!!


Secondly, I would love to share my latest layout made for the current Scrap Africa challenge!


This challenge is "White with a pinch of" and is about creating a project that is 90% white and 10% any other colors.  Here is my take:



This challenge was so much fun to do.  I really enjoyed working with mostly white!   . . . and don't' forget to check out Scrap Africa's blog to see what the guest designers and the design team created.


I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!  The weekend is almost here - yay!  We are driving up to Penn State to attend a football game, then bring Katie home for the Thanksgiving holiday.  This really gives me something to be thankful for!

    Congratulations on being chosen as a new DT member. You make fantastic pages, so I can see why you won the honor. What I found so intriguing about this piece was the way you wound the threads from the tag around the photo by passing them under the clothes pin. Stunning and beautiful.

    Good on you! Off to check out the new blog...that's why I used to like 'another freaking scrappy challenge' with Anne Pennington, cos it was a bout scrapping 'you'...so I'm glad there's another starting up with the same ethos, since Anne's has closed....AND this page is just lovely....sooo soft & pretty & that doily under it all looks really sweet:):)
