A Scrap FX card challenge and the Summer of Color, week 5!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!  I haven't been this happy to have it be Saturday in a long time!  Whew!  I have had a very stressful week, and am glad for the chance to relax and work on some crafting/scrapping projects!  Scrapping is definitely wonderful therapy for me!!!

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for the current
using this week's (WEEK 5) Summer of Color colors:
candy apple red and yellow!

Here is the card that I created today using Scrap FX chipboard pieces and the Summer of Color colors for week 5:

and here is the inside:

I want to send a great big thank you to Misty for giving me the nudge to participate in the Scrap FX card challenge.  Without her, I would not have been able to take part in this fun challenge.
Thanks so much, Misty!

And as always, I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  We are having light rain right now, but that's OK . . .  the rain gives me time to relax indoors and get some guilt-free scrapping done!

Have a wonderful rest-of-your-weekend!

  2. Aww, stressful weeks stink. :( Sorry you had to go through one but I am so very glad you had time to unwind and play along with us at ScrapFX because this card is slammin'!!! I love it so much! It makes me smile from ear to ear - I love sunshine and bright colors and you rocked them both here for real! The chippie looks amazing all decked out in red with the bits of gold glimmering on it and the design of the card itself is magnificent. Thanks so much for joining our challenge, I hope play along again!! Take good care. xo Scarlett

Let that card brighten up your week coming up, hope it's easier and kinder to you. So glad you played along with SOC! I'm hoping to do a summer walk on the blog soon, it's looking pretty good here. We have no rain and hot sun lasting all this week coming up, not very happy about that but will try not to complain too much, lol.
