Color Me Scrappy

I would like to share 2 layouts with you from the latest challenges at Color Me Scrappy!  The first challenge marks the end of one design team term and the beginning of another.  We are saying goodbye to some very talented designers and hello to some new ones.  It is a bittersweet time!

Challenge #32 uses very beautiful colors!  Here they are:

I used photos that I took at Penn State this past fall because I found the gardens there absolutely beautiful and perfect for these colors!  The "twist" for this challenge is to use a white background, so I decided to make a white frame for my page, instead of just using a plain piece of white cardstock!

Challenge #32 runs from 2/18/13 through 3/14/13.  So if you like these colors, you still have time to participate in the challenge!  Check it out here: Color Me Scrappy Challenge #32.

Challenge #33 brings the beginning of a new design team's term!  I am very honored to be on the design team for 4 more months!  Thank you, Pam and Lisa!!!

The challenge this time includes a beautiful and fun color scheme and a sketch!

Here's my take:

I wanted to include the photos that I took of Anne on Chinese new year this year!  I just love these colors and that fun sketch, too!!!

Challenge #33 runs from 3/1/13 to 3/14/13.  We are going back to having just 2 challenges per month - on the 1st and 15th of each month.  The founders, Pam and Lisa, feel that this is less confusing than the over-lapping challenges!  To find out more, go to Color Me Scrappy's challenge #33.

And there is a great prize to be won for both challenges, so please check out Color Me Scrappy to find out!

I will be back tomorrow with Heather Landry's latest sketch!  It's a great one!!!

Have a wonderful evening everyone.  It was a cold and blustery day here today, but the sun was out most of the day, which made it not quite so cold!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  5. Great inspiration photos, fun sketch! You always make the nicest LOs, Sharon. Nice color combos and liking a page on the gardens of the Univ- daughter #1 will graduate before you know it and trips there will cease, so it's nice to have these memories :)

That first layout looks like it could really be framed, it would be so nice on a wall. The second layout is amazing with the buttons, papers and cute penquin. Great job on these both!!

We had SUNSHINE yesterday too, I was so happy to see it! Was cold but felt good with the sun out. Hoping it comes back today. Have a great day!
