Teal Ribbon 5K - 2012

We have participated in the Teal Ribbon 5K ever since it started!  My sister, Karen, made t-shirts for all of us to wear in memory of Cathy, 8 years ago.

Every year so far, the weather has been sunny.  But during our drive down on Sunday, we had quite a storm and were worried that it would rain.  But lo and behold, it cleared up right before the run/walk started.  If you want more information about this event, check here!


Karen, who usually runs, decided to walk with us this year - we had so much fun.  And Anne walked the entire 5K without complaining once!  That was a miracle in and of itself!  Ha-Ha!!!

    I loved your layout Sharon. You do such an amazing job telling a story on your pages. Congrats on finishing your walk. I think it's awesome that Anne walked with you and the photo of Katie sleeping made me smile.
