Women's 5K Classic

October is Breast Cancer awareness Month!  We try to participate in the Women's 5K Classic every year!  Here are some pictures that were taken by my sister, Karen:

The night before, they always hold a "packet pick-up" with plenty of vendors and activities!
Karen and I try to attend every year - it's always fun and FABULOUS!

Here is Anne after she got a feather in her hair!
The morning of the race - it was a beautiful day!
 My wonderful and supportive family:
Me with my co-workers and daughters:  and my sisters Karen and Patty:
 Even some dogs participated!
Here's Katie with one of her best friends:
 And they're off!
The survivors parade!  We thought I was a 20-year survivors, but when we figured it out, it was 19 years.  I was in the wrong category.  Oh no!!!!!!!
Anne accompanied me during the survivors parade.
The song "I run for Life" by Melissa Ethridge gets me every time.  I don't think that there was a dry eye in the entire crowd at the Lehigh Parkway.

Thank you all so much for supporting women's cancer research and me!
