This month's challenge asks that we use buttons, bling, and butterflies on our layouts, along with a photo of YOU.
I decided to do something a little different and make a Halloween themed page! I had a photo of me with my fellow adoptive moms taken at my friend's Halloween party this party on October 28th. Here are some photos from the event:
My friend's new puppy Maddie fast asleep during the party:
Here's Katie with their older dog, Jazzy:
And a scary ghost:
And witch:
My favorite photo is of our kids looking so grown up:
And here's the photo that I decided to scrap - I just love these women:
I converted it to black and white:
But decided to scrap the color photo. What do you think?
I LOVED using the gold buttons, the orange, silver, and black bing, and the butterflies on my page.
The orange butterflies were made using the Art-C butterfly cutting/samping/and embossing set. I also fussy cut the black and grey butterflies from the Pink Paisley Spellcast collection paper. I used Simple Stories Spellbound collection too!
Here is a close up:
And different views:
This month's random prize is a 12 x 12 Echo Park scrapbook kit:
I hope you get a chance to check out the challenge and see what all of the design team members came up with, too!
And thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I cannot believe that November is here already and we will be heading into the holiday season very soon.
Hugs to one and all!
