Scrapping the Music challenge #183!

Hi Everyone!
This week's Scrapping the Music song is "It Must Have Been Love"
by Roxette, from the movie "Pretty Woman."

I was inspired by the romantic vacation that John and I just got back from.  There is so much to see and do in Paris, and there is something romantic at every turn!

Here is my layout:

This picture was taken during our first evening there.
John's co-worker took the photo of the two of us,
right after we got our first glimpse of the Eiffel Tower!

So, if you want to play along, check out http://scrappingthemusic.blogspot.com/  and submit your entry by November 29, 2011.  Thanks!!

Scrapping the Music - challenge #181 and #182

Hi Everyone!  I am sorry that I am late posting my layouts for Scrapping the Music's next 2 challenges.  I got unexpected GREAT news that my husband was traveling to Paris, France for a business trip the last week of October, and I got to fly over to meet him after his business meetings!  It was the trip of a lifetime and I will be talking about it in my next post.  So stay tuned . . .

Now back to Scrapping the Music:

Challenge # 181's song is Katie Melua's  "Nine Million Bicycles In Beijing."
I was inspired to use one of my favorite pictures of Karen and me from our childhood for my layout.
Here is my take on the challenge:

The song for our next challenge, #182, is by Savage Garden
and is entitled "Two Beds And A Coffee Machine."

What inspired me most about this song was this amazing picture of my mom before she married my dad!  Wasn't she stylish and beautiful?

If you feel inspired by either of these 2 songs, stop by Scrapping the Music's site (http://scrappingthemusic.blogspot.com/) and join in on the fun!
We would love to have you play along with us.
